Tyler Pack had the longest punt in state high school history.  Playing for Johnson Central vs Greenup County in 2015, Pack punted the ball 89 yds, beating the previous record by 5 yds.

Pack also owns the state high school record for the longest field goal, setting the record in 2013 with a 60 yard kick.

He also holds the record for the second-longest field goal, tied with Aaron Pettrey of Raceland.  Pack’s second-longest field goal was 58 yards, in a game against Perry County Central in 2013.  Pettery’s 58 yd field goal was in 2003, against Berea.

Pettery attended Raceland-Worthington High School and served as quarterback and placekicker.  He played college football at Ohio State and signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov 16, 2010, but was released from his contract 14 days later.  In two games with the Bengals he was 2/4 in field goal attempts.
